QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty T&Cs

General Information 

You are using www.qdossound.com, which is the website of QDOS, a trading name of Reso Ltd, Suite 1, Frosbury Farm, Gravetts Lane, Worplesdon, GU3 3JW, Guildford, United Kingdom, registered number 3703060. Our VAT number is GB 709 3795 04. We are a limited company. The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Reso Ltd when registering for the QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty program. 

‘We’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ refers to Reso Ltd, trading as QDOS. ‘You’ or ‘your’ refers to the person accessing, using, registering, and claiming from www.qdossound.com. 

 By signing up for the QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty, you submit your email address, name(s), and postal address to QDOS. We will only use this information to communicate with you regarding this Limited Lifetime Warranty program. This includes, but is not limited to, registration confirmation, replacement claim confirmation, and dispatch of the replacement product. We do not sell your information to third parties. We will not pass on your information to third parties unless the success of the replacement requires it, and only with your permission. 

Activation of the Limited Lifetime Warranty 

To benefit from the Limited Lifetime Warranty for eligible products, you must register your product on our website within 30 days of purchase. For full registration details, please refer to our website.

Limited Lifetime Warranty - OptiGuard Screen Protector

Qualifying QDOS branded products are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, unless the product was purchased in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, or other disqualified countries.  See here for details of excluded territories.  To verify if your product is eligible for the Limited Lifetime Warranty, please refer to the product packaging, or visit our website for a full list of eligible products

 The QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty as it applies to the QDOS OptiGuard range of glass screen protectors, covers damage, breaks, scratches, and cracks to the QDOS product for the lifetime of the device. The standard ‘life’ of a device is one year and is deemed to be ‘End of Life’ when the device’s successor is released. QDOS’ replacement program allows you to claim a replacement product for up to two years after the device’s ‘End of Life’. After these two years, or after the device is deemed to be ‘End of Life’, warranty replacements are dependent on availability and the current stock status of QDOS. 

Limited Lifetime Warranty - Power 

The QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty, as it applies to eligible power products, covers the reasonable useful life of the product for the duration that QDOS manufactures and sells the product or maintains replacement parts, whichever is longer. This warranty does not cover associated technologies.

What Does Our Warranty Cover? 

The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers all functional aspects of the product under normal use, provided the product was purchased from an authorised QDOS retailer or the official website. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered. 

The QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty specifically covers: 

  • Significant, accidental breaks or damage 
  • Significant, accidental cracks or chips 
  • Noticeable manufacturing defects 

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover 

Our warranty does not cover the following: 

  • Normal wear-and-tear such as the natural degradation of parts and components over time, which does not result from a defect in materials or workmanship. This might include, but is not limited to, the wearing down of batteries, discoloration, or other cosmetic changes that do not affect the function of the product.  
  • Cosmetic damage 
  • Non-accidental damage of any nature 
  • Misuse or mishandling of the product 
  • Exposure to excessive humidity, heat, liquids, sand, or contaminants 
  • Damage from natural disasters 
  • Failures due to improper installation or application such as air bubbles under screen protectors  
  • Theft or loss of the product 
  • Unauthorized alterations or repairs 
  • Non-compliance with the product's manual or installation instructions 
  • Fraudulent claims 

Conditions for Warranty Application 

To apply for warranty service, the qualifying product must have been registered online by the rightful owner within 30 days of purchasing the product with proof of purchase,and you should follow the online claims process, using the official receipt that includes the product reference, date, place of purchase, retailer’s name, and price. The warranty will be invalid if not registered within the 30-day post-purchase window.

Claim Process 

To initiate a claim: 

  1. Contact QDOS customer service via our website or email. 
  2. Provide a detailed description of the defect, along with photographs or videos, and proof of purchase. 
  3. If required, and at QDOS’ sole discretion, you may need to return the defective product at your own cost and in its original packaging for inspection before a claim is approved.  

Shipping Costs

If a claim is approved, a shipping and handling fee will be applied for each replacement product. The customer is responsible forany return shipping costs for the customer’s damaged product where applicable.

Issuing Replacements – At QDOS’ Sole Discretion

We will always aim to issue the same product as the original one you purchased. However, on some occasions, your replacement product may differ slightly from your original purchase, though it will be of the same value (where possible) and for the same device. This could occur if your original product is no longer part of the current range or if we are out of stock of particular colors or finishes. Your replacement is limited to the device for which your original product was registered under the QDOS Limited Lifetime Warranty program.

Disclaimer

  • Warranty codes provided are per product and must be redeemed separately (customers may register more than one product on the same email address). 
  • QDOS reserves the right to revoke the warranty privilege from the purchaser at any time due to suspicious, fraudulent or non-compliant warranty claims. 
  • QDOS reserves the right to decline any specific claim due to multiple prior claims and/or if QDOS believes the claim does not comply. 
  • The QDOS OptiGuard product replacement is limited to the life of the original device for which the product was purchased and registered. 
  • No guarantee is provided against damage inflicted on the device. QDOS will not be held responsible for any damage to your device. 
  • Warranties do not apply to products purchased from unauthorized vendors or resellers, including but not limited to eBay.com. 

Warranty Duration

At QDOS, we warrant our products against defects in material or workmanship for the lifespan of the product, defined as five years from the original date of purchase. This warranty only covers the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover damage to your device, and there are no implied warranties regarding the product’s purpose, design, merchantability, condition, quality, or performance. QDOS' total liability and that of its suppliers is limited to the original purchase price of the product.

All third-party copyrights, trademarks, brand names, product names, and titles on this website are acknowledged. This website is protected by copyright, and the copyright, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property rights for the content of our website are the property of Reso Ltd T/A QDOS. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Any use, printing, or copying of materials on this website, other than in the course of browsing, selecting products, and ordering from us, is strictly prohibited. Any framing of this website is prohibited.

QDOS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, AND LOSS OF ANTICIPATED PROFITS. QDOS’ WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER ANY THIRD-PARTY DEVICES OR THE PERSONAL PROPERTY OF ANY CONSUMER. QDOS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE WARRANTY REPLACEMENT FOR SUSPECTED FRAUD OR ABUSE OF QDOS’ WARRANTY POLICY CONTAINED HEREIN. QDOS’ WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. QDOS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE TERMS OF ITS WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES WITHOUT NOTICE. 

The benefits conferred by these warranties are in addition to other rights you may have depending on your country, state, or province of residence. Furthermore, some countries, states, and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If any provision of these warranties is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect any remaining provisions.
